Flooding, earthquakes and severe weather are the most likely hazards to visit Madison County, according to a Hazard Mitigation Plan being developed by Madison County government.
Joe Parente, the county’s administrator of planning and development, said a federal law requires the plan in order for local governments to receive federal grants should any of those natural disasters occur.
